Some terms and reoccurring mentions may be totally foreign to some people, so here’s some vocabulary for ya.
A
AIM – short for AOL Instant Messaging. It is an IM service that is very popular where Ria lives, and she communicates on it more than any other way (texting, speaking, whatever.)
G
gigglez777 – a girl that goes to Ari’s school. Ari does not like her, and her real name happens to be the same as Ria’s. She is often prank-imed and is known for forcing her crazy religion and music beliefs on people.
K
Kevin – Trag and Ria like to prank him, along with his friend-shadow Adam, once a year toward the end of school. Past pranks have included having him fail an easy test that everyone else passed, taunting him with Listerine Strips, and burning a book he lent out to someone.
L
Lunch – hopefully everyone knows what this is, but maybe not why it’s significant. At Ria’s lunch period, all hell breaks loose. Always. There is never a dull moment in lunch.
LUNA bar – being a vegetarian, Ria eats many Luna bars for protien. “Lunas” are protien bars made out of nuts, chocolates, and other flavors. The S’mores kind is very sticky and it is easy to separate the chocolate from the nuts in it, which typically results in the nuts being rolled and stuck together to create a “Nut Ball.”
N
Nut Dust – Ria always brings nuts to eat at lunch. When Ria finished her box of nuts, she has many crumbs left over. She, SK, Ashley, and Rachel then hit the bag of nut crumbs with their water bottles, creating nut dust.
Nut Ball – A creation that is formed from the top of S’mores flavored LUNA bars.
O
The Other Table – There are two tables of Ria and her friends at Lunch. the one Ria sits at, and The Other Table. Often, food, money and words are exchanged between the tables, not necisserily in ‘normal’ ways.
P
Pokemon – a hit TV show and video game franchise that made its debut back in the late 90′s. It became very unpopular after about 2 years of its existence, but it is making a come back thanks to the Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum games and being around for over 10 years.
W
WTPT – a podcast made by ‘Jowy’ and ‘KC.’ This podcast is called The Pallet Tribune, though it used to be The Pokemon Times and Ria generally still refers to it as that. Ria used to listen to it and be a very active member of their chat room, but their recent changes and apparent dislike of innocent people has chased her away. She still talks about them almost every day, though.
